From container to bale. The full process.
What happens between the moment we order a US container and the moment your bale arrives. Documented step by step. No hidden steps. No middlemen unaccounted for.
Excellent Vintage orders 14 containers per year from 3 US + 6 EU partners. Containers cross the Atlantic in 18–22 days, then bales are pre-sorted by brand and grade in our 2,500 m² warehouse in Bovenkarspel. We process 15–20 tonnes per month. Resellers buy bales (€500+ excl. VAT) or containers (€30K+ excl. VAT). 24h shipping across NL/BE/DE/FR.
Nine partners. Verified.
Our 3 US partners cover the full North American sourcing map. Our 6 EU partners handle European-specific archives — NL local sorting, DE Adidas + Y2K, UK Burberry & Barbour, FR Lacoste atelier, IT Milan archive, ES/PT Iberian streetwear.
14 containers crossing the Atlantic, every year.
Each container is 8–14 tonnes of vintage, sealed and documented at origin. Standard transit: 18–22 days at sea, then 3–5 days clearing customs at Rotterdam port, then truck to Bovenkarspel.
Pre-sorted by brand and grade. Always.
We don't pick item-by-item — at 15-20 tonnes/month, that's physically impossible. Two transparent options: 90% Grade A bag or 70/30 A/B bale.
24h shipping. Across 12 EU countries.
DHL Express, UPS, GLS — and our own carrier for Benelux. Order by 14:00, ship same day, deliver next business day to NL, BE, DE, FR.
